The posts were installed in early 2016. In total, there are 22 posts, located in areas likely to see the most change as the project progresses; these locations are shown on the map (left). Some locations have more than one vantage point, giving a total of 37 viewpoints.

In construction, the posts are merely fenceposts, with lines engraved into the tops to line up a camera.
