Llys Nini People and Places Project
Llys Nini Animal Centre is owned by the local branch of the RSPCA. It is a separately registered charity, which is not funded by the RSPCA, but is locally funded and managed. It helps over 2,000 animals every year.
To find out more about our animal welfare work go to www.rspca-llysnini.org.uk
Llys Nini is an old farm; we have 78 acres of land on which, thanks to grants (including one from the Big Lottery), we are creating more habitats and improving the site for wildlife. You will find out what we are doing on the Project Plans page.
If you would like to visit the site, take part in one of our events, or volunteer to help create habitats and conserve wildlife with us, please see the Events, Visits, and Volunteering page. Did you know that we are happy to host schools, community groups and others? Find out more!
Llys Nini is a very old place - we have records going back to 1507, and believe that the site was first established by Prince Einon (after whom Gorseinon is named) around 977. To find out more see the Llys Nini Site page.
